Packing list and Luggage Suggestions

Traveling to Ecuador?
PACKING LIST and LUGGAGE Suggestions

What to pack?

Bring a little of everything. Consider bringing clothing for different temperatures since the weather here is quite unpredictable. While in Quito temperatures range from 12º C –or even lower (early in the morning and during the night) to 23-24º (at noon and early afternoon), in the coast and jungle they could vary between 30ºC to 35ºC with 80% to 90% of humidity.

Check List:

  • T-Shirts
  • Sweat shirt or sweater
  • warm jacket (e.g. fleece)
  • waterproof windbreaker jacket
  • long trousers
  • Shorts
  • Light hiking boots or shoes / walking shoes
  • Sneakers
  • Flip-flops (are a good idea when you take a shower) and/or sandals (e.g. TEVA)

  • Rain poncho
